Atmosphere was everything in this film. From the first pitch alone, it was clear that Paul had a strong vision—one where the world mirrors Fay’s inner world, a place slowly decaying. Every space had to tell that story, reflecting the emotional weight of her journey.
Set in a seaside town, it was important to bring the sea into our interior locations too—infusing spaces with the damp, the cold, and rough textures to create a world that felt weathered and beaten. I drew inspiration from the rich textures found on the beach, carrying that palette into every location to ensure a cohesive and immersive tone.
